The film has never been officially released and is in homage to the Arecibo Observatory and the recent events that have taken place this week of Dec. 4, 2020. The animated film consists of a performance with Tito Puente and Charlie Palmieri in the Bronx from the late 1970's. The footage is from the documentary "Salsa Latin music of New York and Puerto Rico" produced and directed by Jeremy Marre. It intercuts with footage from the informational short documentary shown at the Arecibo Observatory. This work is animated with my drawings depicting a link between the telescope in Puerto Rico and how sound is a vessel transmitting culture.
